Don't be Afraid, Rat

This is a Photo Confrontatie to the tune Don’t Be Afraid from my wife Emily. Try playing the tune while you look at the picture.

I accidentally killed Ray when Emily and I were first dating. Ray was also a rat. This was the triumphant replacement rat. Clearly this rat felt little fear, having strong protection from her greatest predator, Jazzy. Jazzy is the cat.

I tried thinking about this scene of Rat and Cat when reading the original text for “Don’t be Afraid” (Ephesians 6:10-20) . It was odd but perhaps inspiring depending on the day.
