| Jonathon
Mikel Taylor Roberts Jonathon Roberts grew up in Wisconsin and lives in New York City. He has been through a lot of schooling, including Lawrence University. He has two degrees but learned the most from his exceptional parents. His mother, Paula Roberts, is a stunning church artist who works out of her house in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Because of this Jonathon grew with things like lifesize cattle from nativities in the dining room and crucifixes on the kitchen table. She creates beautiful works in between tending her pony Baggins and all of Baggins' barnyard friends and foes. Jonathon's father, John Roberts, is a brilliant state veterinarian, passionate conservationist, and master composter. He lives in a cabin in the northwoods with his wife Nancy where they canoe, ski, and tend the farm. Jonathon writes a lot of music that explores his faith and personal life experiences. He tries his best to create what is true to himself and communicate hope to other people. That has led Jonathon to use theatre, video, and other multimedia tools to illuminate what might otherwise be a muddle. His most recent major work was Project Paul. Visit www.projectpaul.com if you would like to learn more about that one. This work has led him to explore faith and art in a new way and meet all kinds of fascinating people across this country while traveling in his RV. New York has brought daily adventures including Radio City, Modmylife.com, Aldo Perez, Barry Z, barking, 3-legged-dog, icelu, Justina Gaddy, Kids Creative, and lots of peanuts from the street. |
